     Born and raised in Paris, Linda Darahim came to Kuwait in 2013 to found an online platform which brings local talents under one virtual roof, hence, Thouqi.com was born. Linda majored in communication and public relations but went on to work as a buyer for 11 years specializing in jewelry, watches, and fashion. The idea of creating a fine jewelry brand struck Linda while she was pregnant with her daughter. With the birth of Hanna, Majorel Atelier was born.

     Linda is inspired by modern architecture and art deco. Her passion and love for minimalism is visible in her one of a kind designs. The name of the brand is divided into two parts. Linda wanted to pay tribute to her mother and have a part of her within the brand. Linda’s mother is originally from Morocco and her love for the Majorelle Garden is indescribable. It’s a botanical garden set in the famous Rue Yves St Laurent in Mararakech, Morocco. As for the word atelier, it is French for workshop or studio of a professional artist. All of Majorel Atelier’s pieces are handmade in Kuwait by the finest, experienced craftsmen, using 18 carat gold and unique handpicked gemstones and diamonds.
